Private home – Saccolongo
This project involved the restoration of a villa in Saccolongo, at the foot of the Euganean Hills. We met the customers when we were exhibiting at a trade fair, during the first week of presenting Riserva 1885: they immediately fell in love with it. The project entailed laying the floor of a 40-square metre living room and cladding an existing staircase. It was also a novelty for us to work with these planks and the idea was very attractive.
Private Villa – Bisceglie
In the town of Bisceglie (Province of Bari, Andria and Trani), in the summer nightlife district a hundred metres from the sea, we restored and extended a single-family villa, which was part of an apartment complex built in the early 1980s. Set on a 500 sq. m lot, the villa had an architecture based on terraces and an internal surface area of 180 sq. m divided into three levels: basement, ground floor, and roof terrace.
L'atelier m is situated on the 3rd floor of a simple urban building in the heart of Bastia, Corsica. The door opens to reveal a Chevron flooring pattern, like a series of arrows concealed by the warm, dark colour that matches the Green Smoke (green/blue/smoky grey) on the walls.
Villa with a view - Lugano
The relationship with nature and the landscape, the permeability between interior and exterior spaces, the juxtaposition and overlapping of volumes, the use of precise materials: these are the main themes of this single-family villa in Lugano.
Private Residence - Genoa
In Genoa, east of the city centre and a stone's throw away from the elegant city promenade of Corso Italia, lie are the neighbourhoods built during the 19th century expansion of the city. Wide avenues and mansions in close contact with the sea stand in contrast to the narrow laneways of Genoa and their perpetual search for light. Here light is not lacking and it is in one of these buildings that the light-filled apartment, the object of our project, is located.
